The exhibition will be internationally acclaimed artist Yee I-Lann’s first solo exhibition in Hong Kong. Born and currently residing in Sabah, Malaysia, Yee has always been intrigued by narratives on Southeast Asia Archipelago's colonial past and post-colonial present. In Yee I-Lann: Until We Hug Again, Yee will be navigating the complex cultural identities and geopolitical history of Southeast Asia through textile-based works, offering her interpretation of solidarity, compassion and humour under the COVID-19 pandemic.
