A two-fold screen (color on paper, h. 64" w. 65¼") owned by the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Rogers Fund, 1957. Most of Hoitsu's well-known works come in brilliant colors applied over a gold or silver background. This screen is typical of his more naturalistic works, after the realism of Korin, whom Hoitsu admired.
